Statement
As a portrait artist with over a decade of experience, I understand that people often hide their true feelings behind a façade of emotions. That's why I use my art to take my viewers on an emotional journey, to help them open up and connect with their genuine selves.
I believe that art has the power to heal, and that's what I aim to achieve through my work. With a unique blend of realism and abstract techniques, I create art pieces that not only inspire beauty and love but also draw out the emotions that are often hidden beneath the surface. My preferred medium is acrylics, and I often use glow paint and sparkles to create a captivating visual experience that invokes genuine and serene emotions of love, simplicity and awe.
In addition to being a highly creative storyteller, I am a visionary artist who is passionate about sharing my wisdom on the canvas. Through my life-time series, "The Art Of Wisdom," I plan to create countless art pieces that draw inspiration from all walks of life and share the lessons/wisdom with the world. With a passion for teaching and mentoring, my art is not just a medium for self-expression, but also a tool for personal and collective transformation.
Biography
Nana Bonsu is an exceptionally gifted artist, musician, and soccer player currently based in Dallas, TX. Born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana, Nana followed his heart and moved to the United States at the age of 18 to pursue his education. Despite originally studying mechanical engineering in college, he decided to take a bold step and fully pursue his love for art. His courage has since paid off and he has become a successful and highly respected portrait artist.
